The international Eurojackpot top prize from Friday’s draw is to be shared among 10 punters, said the Finnish national lottery agency Veikkaus.
The prize was won by a group of 10 persons who entered the draw from the Veikkaus website.
The winners hail from Haapavesi, Kiuruvesi, Keitele, Lappeenranta, Lahti, Kangasala, Riihimäki, Espoo, Helsinki and Hanko.
The full amount of the prize is 38.9 million euros but the total amount of gain could rise to almost 40 million euros thanks to the options entered in the draw.
Each of the 10 winners will receive 3.96 million euros.
The win was the eighth top prize to be claimed from Finland. The previous jackpot was claimed in July.
