Garments retailers Lindex on Friday announced the withdrawal of pink baby vest with push buttons.
In a release, Lindex said the product does not meet Lindex safety requirements.
According to Lindex, push buttons have not been attached in accordance with Lindex instructions and can therefore fall off.
Lindex said loose buttons may pose a choking hazard to small children and urged customers who have received or bought the vest to return it to the nearest Lindex store for a full refund.
The company regrets the incident which saw the baby vest incorrectly having passed the security controls.
