An incident of fire took place at a recycling service center in Espoo late Tuesday evening and engulfed the nearby buildings.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, originated from heavy snowfall and smoke at about 6.30 pm at the Kuusakoski recycling service center at midnight  of Tuesday.

Rescue Department urged Kauklahden west side residents to avoid outdoor presence and remain the windows closed to avoid the intoxication, 

About 200 people was at the Kuusakoski e-waste management. The evacuation was  Completed by midnight.

A resident of the neighboring house to the factory Pertti Lampén  informed police and and took the people to the nearby school wearing musk.

The STT correspondent found thick fog late in the evening, and the air felt a strong odor of burnt plastic. 

Rescue Department said that no human casualty was taken place in the fire.
