Thu, 18 Feb, 2016 12:05:58 AM FTimes – STT Report, Feb 18  File Photo Lehtikuva. The customs authorities on Wednesday announced that they have seized a huge amount of doping substances smuggled in from the neighbouring Estonia.
The value of the doping substances according to the estimation of the customs is approximately 230,000 euros.
Furthermore, the Estonian customs busted the trafficking of another batch of doping substances worth about 30,000 euros.
The customs said it had seized over 1,300 doping ampoules and nearly 74,000 tablets containing doping substances.
The confiscated ampoules and tablets contained anabolic steroids, drug substances and synthetic growth hormones.
Two Finns are suspected to be involved in the smuggling. They are suspected of aggravated doping offences and drug and narcotic crimes.
The customs seized the substances in several batches.
