The year-on-year increase in rents was 3.2 per cent during the third quarter of 2015, according to Statistics Finland.
 
The rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up by an average of 2.9 per cent in the whole country.
 
The rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up in Greater Helsinki area and in the rest of Finland by 2.9 per cent as per the data derived from quarterly statistics on rents.
 
The rents of government  subsidised dwellings rose by 3.6 per cent in the whole country.
 
Compared to the previous quarter, the rents of non-subsidised dwellings increased by an average of 0.6 per cent and the rents of government subsidised dwellings increased also by 0.6 per cent.
 
The rent statistics are based on interview data collected in connection with the Labour Force Survey and on the Population Register Centre’s Building and Dwelling Register.
