The Minister of Economic Affairs, Olli Rehn, the Managing Director of the Finnish Pension Al-liance TELA Suvi-Anne Siimes and Director General at the Finance Ministry Pentti Pikkarainen, among others, have applied for the two vacant posts of the Bank of Finland board.
A total of 19 applications were submitted for the two vacant positions.
Two applications were submitted within the Bank of Finland. They are Kari Sipilä and Tuomas Välimäki.
From the academic world, the applicants are Professor Roope Uusitalo and Mikko Puhakka.
