The value of exports was slightly over 4.9 billion euros, said the Customs in a statement.
Export prices increased by 0.6 per cent, while the volume of exports increased by 5.2 per cent.
Similarly, the value of imports increased by three per cent in June and was slightly over 4.6 billion euros.
The import volume increased by 8.6 per cent in June, but the prices decreased by 3.5 per cent.
Meanwhile, in January-June, the total import value decreased by one per cent compared to that in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Exports of electrical machineries and equipment, transport equipment, and petroleum products improved compared to June 2015, while exports of industrial machineries, chemical industry products, forest industry products, and metals declined.
Imports of industrial machineries, electrical machineries and equipment, transport equipment and crude oil increased, while imports of chemical industry products and food items diminished.
