The discussions between the premiers will focus on European Union’s key issues like the development of the Economic and Monetary Union, the banking union and enlargement, which are themes at the June European Council, said a government press release.
They are also scheduled to discuss the Common Security and Defence Policy, which is to be discussed by the European Council in December, and touch upon the preparatory work for the Eastern Partnership Summit to be held in the autumn in Vilnius.
During the meeting, Katainen and Tusk will also discuss bilateral issues, the press release added.
