A worker, working at the UPM's Tervasaari old pulp mill demolition site in Valkeakoski, fell down from an elevated point and died on Tuesday afternoon, company sources said.
Factory manager Pentti Putkinen said that there was no eye witness of the accident.
Putkinen also said that the victim was not a UPM employee but worked as a contractor from Pirkanmaa.
