The move is expected next spring and preparations for the remodelling work that was sanctioned in 2007 and estimated to cost 225 million euros, has already began.
The parliament underground facilities are currently being arranged to create space for logistics, maintenance and carpentry work.
The MPs are expected to stay away from the main parliament building for two years as it undergoes major face lift, to be completed in 2017.

Refurbishment of furniture and improvement in surface coatings are also on the cards.
“The members of parliament will fit in the hall just precisely, when the theatre is adjusted a little bit,” said Ilona Nokela, head of parliamentary real estate office.
