The salary package of Jarmo Lindberg, the to be Chief of Defence of the Finnish Defence Forces, will be equivalent to what is earned by the present chief Ari Puheloinen who will go into retirement in August.

The ministry of finance has decided that Lindberg’s salary will be 13,047 euros a month, revealed a statement released by the government.

According to the government, Lindberg will receive housing allowance of 1658 euros for a 132 square meters service-apartment whose total rent is 2550 euros, hence the allowance is 35 percent of the rent.
