Carl Haglund, as expected, was elected unanimously as the party leader of the Suomen ruotsalainen kansanpuolue (Swedish People’s Party of Finland) at the party congress in Pedersöre.
Haglund said he was extremely motivated to continue at the helm of the party.
Earlier, Haglund had reaffirmed the party’s engagement towards constructive politics.
Haglund has been the leader of the party since 2012.
