One of the big nightclubs located in the centre of Helsinki has been closed on charge of drugs trading, reported national broadcaster Yle.

Police also arrested 10 people including customers and employees of the club in this connection.

Helsinki police are investigating the distribution of drugs at the nightclub, and the regional administrative authority has closed down the restaurant of the club.

The police, however, did not disclose the name of the nightclub.

Helsinki Police department is aware of several restaurants, where drugs are being sold.

However, at the moment the investigation now only relates to this one nightclub.

Police are considering to prepare charge sheet of the case in next two months, police sources said.
