FTimes – STT Report, Jan 6

The majority of Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland-SDP) constituency members believe that the party chair, Antti Rinne has performed well or very well, found a survey by the Finnish commercial broadcaster MTV.

The popularity of Rinne, however, has dropped, since 96 per cent of the district members supported Rinne in a similar survey before the parliamentary elections.

At the same time, the SDP’s support has increased during the period.

Rinne was, however, criticised, for poor presentation skills, among other things.

Ninety-three per cent of the constituency board members believe that the SDP parliamentary group chair, Antti Lindtman performed well or very well in his task.

The majority of the respondents, 81 per cent, believe that SDP has performed well or very well in opposition.

A total of 88 constituency board members were interviewed on 2-15 December.
