A prosecutor at the South Ostrobothnia District Court is calling for unconditional jail term for a man accused of spreading child pornographic materials.

According to prosecutor, the man uploaded images and video recordings of child sexual abuse to, among other places, the Vauva.fi site.

The man has, according to the summons, confessed to posting child pornography and spreading a total of about one thousand images and two hundred videos.

According to prosecution, the crime is aggravated because the children in the material are especially young or the children are particularly humiliated. The dissemination of the material has been extensive. The offenses were also spread out over a long time, from spring 2014 to autumn 2015.

The prosecutor is demanding more than a year of unconditional imprisonment for the aggravated distribution of sexually offensive images of children. The prosecution also demands that the man's prior conditional prison sentence be implemented in full.
