Five men are suspected of organising illegal entry of about 150 people into Finland from Iraq.

According to the indictment, the men were involved in organised crime.

The case began in the Southwest Finland District Court on Thursday.

According to the indictment, the men brought 149 people from Iraq who did not have any entry document. Some of the suspects have an Iraqi background.

Some of those brought into Finland paid about $10,000 each for their passage, according to the indictment, while others paid smaller amounts.

The suspected crimes occurred between June and August 2015.
