Anti-immigrant publication MV-lelhti Chief Editor Ilja Janitskin on Saturday took to the social media site Facebook to announce his release from police detention in Spain.
 
Janitskin said he was in Madrid, and that he had been detained for three days.
 
Janitskin is reportedly running the publication from Spain.
 
The District Court of Helsinki on a previous occasion issued a order for detention of Janitskin in absentia.
 
The publication chief editor is suspected of incitement of ethnic agitation, aggravated defamation, money collection offences, illegal threats and copyright offences.
 
In the Facebook video, Janitskin expressed delight at being free.
 
The MV-lehti reported that Janitskin was transported to trial from Barcelona to Madrid drugged, and that his hands and legs were tied.
 
Janitksin showed a document of the Madrid trial both in the MV-publication and the Facebook post.
