The construction cost of buildings has risen by 0.7 per cent at the end of July this year from that July 2012, according to a Statistics Finland survey report.
The report released recently also says the cost of construction labour has gone up by 1.1 per cent, materials by 0.3 per cent, and other inputs by 1.6 per cent over the previous year.
However, in June to July, the total index of building costs had fallen by 0.2 per cent, the prices of labour and other inputs remained unchanged and that of materials decreased by 0.4 per cent, says a Statistics Finland press release.
