According to Eurostat, industrial production fell by 1.5 per cent in June. Economists had anticipated, in a survey by the news agency Reuters, that production would fall by only 0.1 per cent.
Out of seventeen euro countries, industrial production rose only in Finland and Spain in July.
Euro area economy had time to turn in April-June growth year and a half after the recession.
The economic growth slows down in the euro area, including dependence on exports to the European Union outside the high rates of unemployment and household finances.
