Building costs in the country have increased by one per cent in January compared to the corresponding period of last year.
According to Statistics Finland, the prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.2 per cent, the prices of materials grew by 0.8 per cent and those of other inputs increased by 1.5 per cent from one year ago.
From December to January, the total index of building costs rose by 0.6 per cent. The prices of labour inputs fell by 0.2 per cent, the prices of materials rose by 1.1 per cent, and those of other inputs went up by 0.2 per cent.
