The spreading snow blanket cover in the Southern parts of the country inspired many shoppers to get discounted sports clothing and equipments.
Toni Stigzelius, Managing Director at sports and outdoor franchise XXL, said the shops had been busy throughout from the morning. A number of products including skis, ice hockey sticks and outdoor clothing went on sale.

“The customers have now seen that winter is coming. (you) Do not dare to buy in advance, but (products) are bought when it is seen that they have use,” said Stigzelius.
