The S-Bank has begun statutory negotiations with a view to cut around 80 jobs, the redundancies aimed at reducing overlaps and improving efficiency.
The negotiations cover around 500 S-Bank employees. Banking employees working in S-Group outlets who are on cooperative payroll are not involved in the co-determination talks.
S-Bank and LähiTapiola Bank merged in May last year. The banking systems have now been com-bined and S-Bank hopes to save annually at least euro 10 million in cost cuts and from overlapping.
