The tax administration has urged the public to report new or changed bank account information so that tax refunds can be paid on time on December 3. The tax authorities have to know the bank account numbers no later than Friday.
There are still no account details for more than 100,000 people, many of whom are young people.
Bank information can be changed electronically at
vero.fi.
According to the tax administration, customers should also check on the site that their given bank information is correct.
If a tax refund cannot be deposited into a bank account, the recipient can redeem the refund at Osuuspankki (OP) branches within 28 days.
Money orders will arrive to recipients from December 9 to December 11. Credit union customers can purchase a money order at the OP online banking website.
