The Finnish consumer goods company Fiskars will begin statutory negotiations at the end of March.
The result of the reorganisation of its manufacturing operations will cover a total of 286 employees at the Bilnäs factory in Finland, said Fiskars in a release.
The possible permanent reduction of employees is estimated to affect a maximum of 107 employees.
According to Fiskars, the plans are part of the Supply Chain 2017 restructuring programme which aims to improve the company’s competitiveness in manufacturing operations and distribution network.
At the moment Fiskars has two own garden tools manufacturing sites - one in Finland and another one in Poland.
