The  salaries earned by bosses of major companies listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange in 2015 rose to a new record, reported Finnish language daily Helsingin Sanomat.
 
The income of the company bosses rose three-folds when compared to the average earnings of Finns, according to a survey by the newspaper.
 
The average salary and bonuses of major listed company bosses who were sur-veyed by Helsingin Sanomat amounted to about 1.1 million euros. The sum rises to over 1.57 million euros if the option and share bonuses are taken into account. The figure further rises to 1.8 million euros if additional pension contributions are included.
 
Both figures are on average 300,000 more than in 2014.
 
The newspaper has been following the earning development of the CEO's of 41 major companies since 2005.
