The environmentalists activists action week opposed to nuclear power at Hanhikivi, Pyhäjoki kicked off on Friday.
The police detained two persons at the Pyhäjoki nuclear power plant construction site. Furthermore, there was one incident which resulted to the use of pepper spray.
The police said the duo were apprehended in order to prevent crime and disturbance.
During the day, one excavator parked outside the construction site was vandalised.
Currently there are temporary and permanent movement restrictions in force at Hanhikivi.
