Nickel mining company Talvivaara during an extra ordinary meeting on Thursday approved the sale of mining related assets to Terrafame.
The agreement for the assets sale was signed at the end of June.
According to the agreement, the mine's limestone facility, laboratory and the data ownership rights related to the mine's production will be transferred to Terrafame.
Terrafame paid 1.4 million euros for the purchase of the assets.
Terrafame is wholly owned by the state-owned Terrafame Group.
