According to the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK), coverage of the competitiveness agreement has reached 91 per cent.
The government has promised 100 million euros in additional tax cuts, if more than 90 per cent of the coverage is reached. The government has already promised tax cuts of 415 million euros.
The Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff (YTN) and the Trade Union Pro have reached a negotiated agreement with the service industry employers’ association Palta. This means the information, communications and technology (ICT) sector is involved in a competitiveness contract.
The agreement will require the approval of the boards of the parties involved.
Agreements also emerged this week in the financial and pharmacy sectors.
