
Hundreds of people took to the streets in Helsinki on Saturday night to protest against violence by far-right movements.
The agitating people comprised of feminist, anti-racist and anti-fascist organisations and cultural personalities.
The protesting group gathered at the city’s Narinkkatori and brought out a procession which ended at Karhupuisto area.
Earlier, a feminist march organised in Mälmö was attacked by armed men wielding knives.
Police sources confirmed that the protest proceeded peacefully.
