A crime suspect died in police custody at Kouvola main police station late Monday night.
Police had arrested the 54-year old man who went under blood test at about 8.00 pm and was later taken into custody.
The guards found him senseless a little before midnight and called for an ambulance but the man died.
The cause of the death in custody will be investigated by the Eastern Finland Police Department and Kuopio main police station, police said.
