A group of Syrian origin people living in Finland on Saturday staged a demonstration in Helsinki in support of their countrymen.
The protest organizers, Suomi Syyria Yhteisö (Finnish-Syrian Community), promote awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Syria.
The Syrian civil war started four years ago, when President Bashar al-Assad unleashed a violent response against those who opposed his regime.
Over the last four years, more than 200,000 people have died.
