The Central Finland Police, in cooperation with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority’s Cyber Security Centre, had examined the state administration servers previously and did it again during this month’s denial-of-service (DOS) attacks.
Two of the men have been remanded in jail and the remaining one has been arrested.
All the suspects are aged below 20. Two of them are from the Pirkanmaa region and the third is from Uusimaa.
According to the police, the attacks lasted from a few hours to days. The system was not breached, and no information was obtained.
