Finnish Customs also said that they were involved in inspections of postal and express freight shipments. The value of seized drugs was more than 50 million dollars in total.
More than a hundred countries participated in the coordinated strike to control illegal online phar-maceuticals and counterfeit medicines.
The operation resulted in nearly 400 arrests and 700 criminal investigations.
Finnish Customs seized and took possession of more than 2500 tablets of a variety of medicinal products.
The operation was directed in particular at the illegal online drug trade corridor.
This was the ninth time the operation was held this year.
