Seasonally adjusted output of the national economy went down by 0.1 per cent in August from the month before. 
 
Adjusted for working days, the output fell by 0.5 per cent from the level of the previous year, according to the latest data. 
 
August 2013 had one working day fewer than the corresponding month of the previous year. 
 
Working-day adjusted output in July decreased by 0.5 per cent (previously -0.2 per cent) from July 2012, said the revised data made available on Tuesday.
 
The series of the Trend Indicator of Output are seasonally adjusted with the Tramo/Seats method. 
 
The latest observations of the series adjusted for seasonal and random variation become revised with new observations in seasonal adjustment methods.

Services diminished by close on one per cent and secondary production by good one per cent from one year back.
 
The primary production that refers to agriculture, forestry and fishing, however, went up by five per cent from August 2012.
 
Secondary production includes manufacturing and construction.
 
Services comprise trade, hotel and restaurant activities, transport and business activities, as well as real estate, renting and research services, financial inter-mediation and insurance and public services.
