The online services of the OP-Pohjola bank went down for several hours on New Year’s Eve.
The bank took to the social media Twitter to announce that an extensive communication disruption was affecting all of its services.
The online banking services were out of order and cash withdraws could not be made.
On its Twitter feed, the bank said it was working towards resolving the problem.
A number of customers expressed disappointment on the bank’s Facebook page.
The bank authorities have promised to update their customers on the progress by 9:00pm on Wednesday.
