Domain names ending in “.fi” are being deregulated on Monday. Instead, the fi domain will use the so-called broker model, which is used around the world.

After this, the fi domain name and all related services will be purchased from an online broker account. The prices for fi domains will also fall.

In addition, among other things, the fi domains have also been opened, as restrictions on the applicant’s place of residence and age have been lifted.

In the future, the applicant’s address can be anywhere in the world, and the applicant is no longer required to be 15 years old.

Also, for example, foreign companies, organisations and individuals can get access to a fi domain name.
