The police have completed the pre-trial investigation in a case in which apartments in Mikkeli were used to cultivate cannabis plants this summer.

According to the investigation, five different apartments in Mikkeli were used to grow more than 130 marijuana plants.

In addition to the plants seized, the police in their investigation included the estimated number of cannabis plants previously grown and marijuana produced.

Four men are suspected of aggravated drug charges, and one more of a minor drug offense in the case.

According to police, all suspects are Mikkeli residents and are under the age of 30.

The preliminary investigation also revealed that vandalism and other damages were caused by a firearm. The police found the stolen gun, which was unloaded at a Mikkeli billboard in May.

The case has been brought forward for consideration of the charges.
