The police on Tuesday detained six persons in connection with the suspected murder of a 48-year-old man in Vaasa, police said.
The middle-aged man was found dead in a private housing on Monday and the police carried out searches in several house.
The police are investigating the role of the detained persons in connection to the suspected crime.
Technical investigations at the scene were underway on Tuesday.
The police refused to divulge more details on the incident for proper investigation.
A forensic autopsy on the body will be carried out on Wednesday.
