Photo - AFP / Lehtikuva Information technology company Apple Inc’s main website for developers came under attack on Thursday by some intruders forcing the company to shut the site for the time being, news agency STT reported quoting Reuters and AFP on Monday.
According to Apple, customer’s information has not been in the wrong hands, but the company cannot rule out the possibility that the attackers have captured some of the developers’ information.
The subject of the application developers are currently testing Apple's iOS operating system, the seventh version, which is expected to be a software platform company for the following smartphones and tablet computers.
This has been a rare cyber attack on the US company's network and comes at a time when third-party developers are testing their apps on Apple's iOS 7 - a smartphone and tablet platform to be launched in the fall.
