Mon, 19 Aug, 2013 12:10:56 AM FTimes Report, August 19  Source - Statistics Finland. Turnover in the service sector has grown by 1.3 per cent in March-May from that in the same period of last year, said the Statistics Finland.
Statistics Finland data shows the turnover in the service industries in March-May last year had grown by 3.4 per cent from that in the corresponding period of the year before.
Services are examined exclusive of trade.
In March to May, turnover showed a subdued development in all main service industries apart from arts, entertainment, and recreation activities, and real estate services.
A slight increase in turnover growth was also seen in other service activities and in information and communication activities from the corresponding period of last year.
The development was weakest in transport and storage industries and in administrative and support service activities where turnover had decreased over the past year.
