The wages and salaries of the whole economy was 1.8% greater in the past July to September period than in the corresponding period twelve months earlier, according to Statistics Finland.
In September alone, the wages and salaries of the whole economy grew by 2.1% year-on-year, according to a release of the institution.
During the July to September period one year ago, the amounts of wages and salaries grew by 1.7%.
The sum grew in the July to September period in all main industries with the exception of manufacturing (-1.7 %) and education services provided by the private sector (-0.2 %).
The wages and salaries sum grew fastest in private health and social work services (+5.9%), said the release.
