The Finnish Transport Agency awarded the tender for sprinklers in the underground tunnel and the railway station incorrectly.
The Supreme Administrative Court stood by the Market Court's decision that the Transport Agency awarded the tender, against the rules, to an offer that did not fulfil the requirements.
The offer was to include a five-year warranty, but the approved offer included only a two-year warranty.
The Transport Agency was ordered to pay 200,000 euros to the party that lost their offer as compensation.
