The Interior Ministry has sent a draft proposal for a new fund-raising Act, which would replace the current Money Collection Act, seeking the opinion of the National Police Board.
 
The objective of the new law is to make more flexible fund-raising activities such as the transition from the current to a prior authorization procedure for the declaration, said a press release of the Ministry of Interior issued on Wednesday. 
 
Administratively, the money collection matters should be transferred to the National Police Board.
  
The draft resolution has been prepared for the Ministry of Interior set by the legislative project.
 
The project is also an interface to extract government's target of unnecessary regulations, according to the release.
 
Registered in Finland, entities such as associations, foundations and corporations are to engage in fundraising.
 
Collection of money by parties entitled will continue to increase, said the release.
 
The draft Money Collection Act also aims to clarify the money collection and a number of funding relationship.
 
The bill proposes that all forms of consideration for a number of financial-based fund-raising limits. The draft resolution also proposed that the penalty provisions of the fund-raising crimes are amended.
 
The proposed legislation is intended to come into force for about a year after their adoption.
