Cases of driving under influence of drugs is rising, reported the Finnish language daily Aamulehti.
According to statistics, currently, driving under influence of drugs has risen by up to 20 per cent. At the same time, cases of driving under the influence of alcohol are decreasing.
The number of cases involving driving under the influence of drugs at the end of October was higher than the number of drivers caught driving under the influence of drugs last year, said the newspaper report.

According to forecast, cases of driving under the influence of drugs will reach 3,960 by the end of the year, making this figure the highest ever recorded within a year.
Motorists driving under the influence of drugs include people whose driving skills have been impaired as a result of using legal drugs.
