Leaders of the three parties involved in the talks to form the next government – Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party) chair Juha Sipilä, Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party) chair Timo Soini, and Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) chair Alexander Stubb – revealed on Sunday evening that the programme will be implemented in three years.
All the key issues have been agreed on and less pertinent issues remain to be resolved on Monday, said Sipilä.

The party leaders who held the discussions at the Government Banquet Hall said the issue regarding streamlining the cabinet was discussed but a decision was not yet reached.
Soini was pleased with the venture which he hopes will create employment and economic growth.
Stubb also said he was contended that the major issues have been agreed on.

A discussion on the structure of ministerial portfolios and the number of ministers is scheduled to take place today.
