Hundreds of people demonstrated against fur farming in Helsinki on Thursday.
The police said the demonstration was peaceful and estimated that approximately 600 people took part in the procession that started from Senate Square and ended in the area between the Citizens' Square, Kiasma and Helsinki Music Centre.
The protesters handed a petition demanding the abolition of fur farming by the new parliament.
The demonstration was organised by animal rights organisations such as Animalia and OikeuttaEläimille.
