The Eastern Uusimaa Police are investigating a case in which a female teacher sought to have relationship with two under age students.
The suspected offences took place in 2012-2016.The students were aged 12-14 years.
The teacher has been detained in remand and, so far, remains suspended by the City of Vantaa.
The suspicion came to light when another student informed the authorities.
The authorities reported the matter to the police.
The suspected offences are being investigated as aggravated child sexual abuse, sexual abuse and violation of official duty.
According to the City of Vantaa, students’ care will be reinforced from Monday onward to en-sure the students receive support. The parents will also be informed about the matter.
