“Even though they publicly state that they do not condone hate speech, individuals talk on matters related to immigration are quite different. This does not help feeling that there is going to be a phenomenon where they publicly denounce racism, but nevertheless, it would be nice to get the votes,” Rinne said.

In Finland there should be a clear parliamentary instituted programme which would handle immigration policy without any regard to the composition of the government.

“The programme adopted by parliament would make it clear how matters would be handled in Finland and under what principles,” Rinne added.
