The country´s total industrial output has been reduced by 1.9 per cent in November 2012 than the output of the previous year.

According to the Statistics Finland, The industrial output, particularly in the electric and electronics industries has reduced remarkably in the last November than the previous year, which was 21 percent lower compared to the previous year.

The statistical report released on Thursday, however, said that the output in the chemical industry increased by 12.2 per cent and in the forest industry increased by 3.6 per cent higher than one year ago.

It also said that the January to November period the industrial output adjusted for working days went down by 1.5 per cent from twelve months back.

The output in mining and quarrying fell by 8.7 per cent while 7.3 per cent output was reduced in the metal industry.

The statistics also said that the seasonally adjusted output fell by 0.5 per cent in November last year from the previous month of October. In October, seasonally adjusted output was 0.6 per cent higher than in September. In September and August, output declined by good one per cent from the reference period.
