Nearly 80 percent of Finns are ready for job-specific flexibility, found a survey commissioned by Confederation of Finnish Industrie –EK.
 
According to the survey, 77 percent of the respondents are willing to work more hours during peak periods of which accumulated holidays may be considered low peak periods.
 
Some 40 percent of the respondents completely agreed while 37 percent of the respondents were somewhat in agreement with this statement.
 
Furthermore, 44 percent of the respondents believe the collapse of the social contract negotiations will impede economic growth while 28 percent believe otherwise.
 
Up to 71 percent of the respondents support moderate wage solution.
 
The survey was conducted by Taloustutkimus on 24-25 August. A total of 1,040 people responded to the survey with margin of error being about +/–3 percent.
